Television actor best known for playing the role of Karl 'Helo' Agathon on Battlestar Galactica and Paul Ballard on Dollhouse.
He studied at the Lyric School of Acting in Vancouver.
His character on Battlestar Galactica was originally intended only for the miniseries, but producers and audiences were so impressed by his performance that he became a series regular.
His father is former Yukon premier, Tony Penikett. He grew up with two sisters named Sarah and Stephanie.
He was cast in Dollhouse, created by Avengers director, Joss Whedon, in 2009.
