She graduated from the Ankara Art theatre in 2001. She also studied information management at Hacettepe University.
She was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Butterfly's Dream at the 2014 Milano International Film Festival Awards.
She was born in Ankara, Turkey. She married Director Yilmaz Erdogan in 2006.
