Australian professional boxer known for holding the IBF featherweight title between 2011 and 2013. He also held the IBO super featherweight title in the year 2008. For the IBO title, he had faced South African boxer Zolani Marali and won by unanimous decision.
He took up boxing at the age of 12 at the local Police and Community Youth Club. He soon began appearing in amateur competitions, winning 98 out of 113 bouts.
