Born Elmer Arce, he is a Puerto Rican singer who has sold more than thirty million albums internationally.
He auditioned for the group Menudo but was not selected. The producers said that he was too young at the time.
He had two #1 albums on the U.S. Latin Charts, Cautivo in 2005 and No Hay Imposibles in 2010.
He married former beauty queen Marilisa Maronesse and he has two children, Isadora and Lorenzo.
In 2005, he toured alongside fellow Puerto Rican singer Marc Anthony.
