First known for her roles in films like Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, she would go on to earn a recurring role in the 2017 television series Andi Mack.
She used to be a competitive figure skater and was her high school cheerleading captain. She made her screen acting debut in 2012 in the film adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
In 2015, she guest starred in episodes of Chasing Life and Scream Queens.
She was admitted to the University of Southern California at the age of sixteen and would later attend college there.
