British actor who gained prominence for his roles in Pride & Prejudice and Shakespeare in Love. He received his first Academy nomination for A Single Man, and the next year he won an Academy Award for his role in The King's Speech. He also played prominent roles in the films Kingsman: The Secret Service, Love Actually and Mamma Mia!
