Known to his online fans as Hardi or Der Hardi, he became famous as a member of the popular PietSmiet Let's Play YouTube channel. He contributed Zelda Gaming videos to the channel and helped PietSmiet reach 2.2 million subscribers.
Before rising to online fame, he briefly studied graphic design and illustration at Hamburg's Academy of Fine Arts.
While remaining active on PietSmiet, he formed an independent YouTube comedy and vlogging channel called Der Hardi.
He spent his youth in Moers and Plettenberg, Germany, and later settled in Hamburg. He frequently posts photos on Instagram of his pug.
He and Dner are both popular YouTube gamers from Germany.
