Famous for his work in Filipino television shows such as Maalaala Mo Kaya, Enchanted Garden, and Daisy Siete, he is also notable for his appearances in the Star Cinema film Starting Over Again and in the Regal Films production Shake, Rattle & Roll 13.
He began his acting career in 2006, appearing on the GMA Network's popular program Eat Bulaga!
He won a 2012 Golden Screen Award for his work in Ligo na U Lapit na Me.
Also known as E.A. Guzman, he was born and raised in Manila, Philippines.
He and Marlo Mortel both signed with ABS-CBN's Star Magic talent unit.
