Best known for her roles in the Mexican telenovelas Teresa (as Luisa) and Destilando Amor (as Daniela), she also starred in professional stage productions of Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar and Cabaret.
She began her soap opera career by training at Televisa's acting school.
She starred in Gael Garcia Bernal's 2007 feature film, Déficit.
She was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico.
She and French-born Actress Angelique Boyer both appeared on the popular Mexican telenovela Teresa.
