Award-winning Malaysian actor and singer who appeared in more than 100 television series and was considered one of the "pioneers in local Chinese drama." In 2013, he made his final appearance as Li Yunshun in It's a Wonderful Life.
He worked as a Teacher in Kuala Lumpur before moving to Singapore in the 1970s and joined the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation in 1977.
He obtained Singapore citizenship in October 2008 after living there for 27 years.
He was married and had a son and a daughter.
