MLB outfielder who hit 242 home runs during his 14-year career; named MVP of the 2008 All-Star game and helped the Red Sox win the 2007 World Series Championship.
He joined the 30-30 club during his college career at Florida State University.
He was selected 2nd overall in the 1997 MLB Draft and his brother Tim was drafted later in the first round. His younger brother Stephen was then selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2006.
