Yoga instructor from India known for being a main proponent of prominent style of yoga known as Ashtanga Vinyasa. He served as a Teacher at Sanskrit College of Maharaja from 1937 to 1973.
He attended a seminar by yoga practitioner T. Krishnamacharya at age twelve and became a student of his the next day.
