She studied tap, jazz and hip-hop dance before starting her voice acting career.
Her voice has also been featured on Go, Diego! Go! and Dora the Explorer: It's a Party.
She and her brother, Christopher, were born to Peruvian parents in New York City.
She was replaced by Caitlin Sanchez as the voice of Dora the Explorer in 2005.
