He has stated he was a troublemaker, and that his mother wished for him to join the military following his high school graduation. The military office was closed the day they went to sign him up, however, and he took it as a sign to pursue his rap career. He had begun writing his own lyrics as a junior in high school.
In September 2013, following the release of his R.E.B.E.L. mixtape, he released the single "Wreal N****z." It was released to iTunes.
He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, New York.
He has collaborated with members of Tyler, The Creator's Odd Future rap collective.
