Born Tyson Smith and better known by the ring name of Kenny Omega, this Canadian Wrestler is famous for his matches with Premier Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Entertainment, Ring of Honor Wrestling Entertainment, and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
In his mid teens, he trained with Bobby Jay and Winnipeg Top Rope Championship Wrestling and took on the wrestling identity of Surfer Kenny Omega. In late 2001, he made his debut for Premier Championship Wrestling.
His signature wrestling moves include the '450 degree splash,' the 'Kotaro krusher,' and the 'Reverse hurricanrana.'
He was born and raised in Transcona, Manitoba, Canada, to a mother who worked in family services and a father who worked as a transport officer. He also has a younger sister.
While appearing with Pro Wrestling Gorilla, Omega defeated Joey Ryan in the semifinal round of the 2009 Battle of Los Angeles.
