Known simply as Xiao, he makes up one tenth of the K-pop boy band UP10TION. The group debuted in 2015 with the mini album Top Secret and would follow with nearly half a dozen more hit EPs.
He was one of the final three members to be introduced to UP10TION on Masked Rookie King in 2015.
In 2016, he and UP10TION bandmate Wooshin became regular MCs on the series Heartwarming 11.
He was born and raised in Busan, South Korea.
Xiao, Hwanhee, Sunyoul, and Kogyeol sang "Leave Me Alone" for the Telemonster original Soundtrack in 2017.
