South African DJ and visual Artist best known for his work with the rap collective Die Antwoord. He suffered from the rare medical condition progeria, from which he died in June 2011.
At age 4 he was diagnosed with progeria, though he went on to become a successful Painter who lived off commission from his works.
His life inspired the play "Solarize", which debuted at the Polish National Opera in April 2014.
He expressed gratitude towards his parents for raising him away from the harsh glare of the media.
He and Activist Sam Berns were both well-known sufferers of progeria.
