Known as the creator and star of an award-winning BBC comedy program titled Limmy's Show, he also maintained a popular weblog and hosted a podcast called "Limmy's World of Glasgow."
After taking multimedia and internet publishing classes, he built his online presence and comedy career while briefly living off of unemployment funds.
He appeared in two computer and video-games-themed programs: Consolevania and VideoGaiden.
Born Brian Limond, he was raised in the Carnwadric and Priesthill districts of Glasgow, Scotland. He began a relationship with Lynn McGowan in 2000; they welcomed a son in August 2010.
In 2014, he began appearing in humor Writer Charlie Brooker's BBC review program, Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe.
