She was the front woman of a band called Louise and the Tornados. She won an open vocal competition at the Penola Arts Festival in 2010.
She married a winemaker named Andrew Burchell. Together they have a daughter. She is from Mount Gambier, South Australia.
She finished just behind Cyrus Villanueva in the grand final of The X Factor Australia.
