Retired Colonel who flew on two space missions, including one for the Department of Defense. He spent approximately 10 and a half days in space.
He attended the Air Force Institute of Technology and earned a master of science degree in astronautical engineering.
His first mission was cancelled after the Challenger tragedy.
He married Lynne Anderson and had two children.
He is a retired Astronaut like Neil Armstrong.
