Freestyle Swimmer who won two silver medals and one bronze medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
He attended the University of Florida, where he starred on the swim team.
Following his competitive career he began coaching swimming.
He married fellow Swimmer Tracy Caulkins, and had five children with her.
He met his wife, Tracy, in the warm up pool at the Olympics.
