Journalist and presenter best known as a long time host of Sat.1-Breakfast TV. She also hosted the series Frühstücksfernsehen for more than a decade.
In her youth, she was a competitive Swimmer and she even founded her own theatre group. She also studied journalism and Spanish at the Free University of Berlin.
In 2016, she became a competitor on Das große Promi Backen, a Celebrity baking show.
She married Sports Journalist and presenter Claus Lufen in 1997. They have one son and one daughter.
In Stefan Raab's video for the Eurovision Song Contest, "Wadde hadde dudde da?," she played the TV announcer.
