Notable for his roles in such hit Singaporean films as The Lion Men (2014) and Ah Boys to Men 3: Frogmen (2015), he attracted a significant online following, accumulating 25,000 Twitter followers; 20,000 Facebook likes; and 90,000 Instagram followers.
Before becoming an actor, he studied martial arts and filmmaking and pursued a degree in media studies.
He made his cinematic debut in a 2010 short film titled Left Hook.
He was raised in a two-parent family in Singapore.
He is a contemporary of fellow Singaporean screen actor Aden Tan.
