She studied acting at the Department of Acting at the University of Tampere. She graduated with a Masters of Theater Arts in spring of 2011. She starred in her first film role in the 2005 film Girl You Are a Star.
In addition to her role in television and film, she is also an accomplished theater Actress and has starred in several productions including Patriarch, Frankenstein, and Saitur's Christmas.
Her father is accomplished musician Mikko Kuustonen and her sister is also an Actress, Lina Kuustonen.
