In 2003, a three-hour Battlestar Galactica miniseries was created based on the original 1978 series. Clyne played the role of Specialist Cally, a FLIGHT deck crewman in the Colonial Fleet, though this initial role was little more than an extra part with a few speaking lines. Soon thereafter, a weekly television series was commissioned in a collaborative effort between the American Sci Fi Channel and the British Sky TV, and Clyne continued her role.
