Turkish actor who became a household name through his role as Ziya on the television series Asi. He later began starring in acclaimed dramas like 2010's Denizden Gelen and 2013's The Blue Wave.
He was raised in Kusadasi, Turkey and studied Physics at Middle East Technical University. Once he discovered his passion for acting, he joined the theatre group at Bilkent University.
He received the SIYAD Turkish Film Critics Association Award for Best Actor for his performance in Sonbahar.
He married Actress Tuba Buyukustun in 2011. He has children named Maya and Toprak, who are twins.
He co-starred with Ebru Özkan in the 2015 drama Memories of the Wind.
