Guitarist most notably known as a member of the band The Tragically Hip who released more than ten studio albums together. The band rose to fame after releasing several singles including "Ahead by a Century," which landed a number one spot on the Canadian Hot 100 list in 1996.
The band formed in 1984 and he joined the lineup in 1986.
Aside from playing in the band he released a solo album called Not Guilty in 2012.
He married Joanne Langlois.
He has been playing in the band alongside Gordon Downie since 1986.
