Hurler who played half-back for St. Martin's from 1994 to 2008 before retiring to become a Teacher.
He attended St. Peter's College, where he had success as a Hurler, but even more so as a gaelic football player.
During his career he won two county championships, in 1999 and in 2008.
He was born and raised in Wexford County in Ireland.
He and author Eoin Colfer both hailed from the same region in Ireland.
