Rapper, music Producer, and graffiti Artist who rose to fame in 2010 after the release of his critically acclaimed mixtape Tuna Spagetti. He later went on to release his debut album Growing Up Sucks in February of 2016.
While living in France at the age of nine, he discovered his love of graffiti art. By thirteen, he had established himself as a prominent graffiti Artist in Malaysia. Not long after, he began composing music with a drum machine gifted to him by his uncle.
He has worked as the resident MC of the Kuala Lumpur weekly party "The Get Up."
Born Mikael Adam Lozach, both of his parents were Club Med employees and therefore he lived much of his life in resorts around the world. He was heavily influenced by his mother, a dance Choreographer, from whom he inherited his love of music.
In 2005, Rapper Joe Flizzow discovered SonaOne's knack for rapping and soon after became his mentor and offered him a spot on Kartel Records.
