Surfer known for his brutal wipeout at the Big Wave Tour's Nazaré Challenge in 2016. He landed himself in the hospital in Portugal for two and a half days. The disaster led him to working for The Wave Project where he teaches troubled kids to surf.
He always wanted to be the first British Surfer to make it to the World Surf League Big Wave Tour.
The big wave that nearly killed him tore his right ear off clean and adjusted his ribs so they almost crushed his lungs.
He is a native of Newquay, England.
