Former international basketball player that played the positions of power forward and center during his 20-year career. He initially earned his first professional contract with the Los Angeles Clippers in 1989. During his career, he played basketball professionally in countries such as France, Spain, Portugal, Lithuania, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Norway and the United States.
He previously played college basketball at MiraCosta Community College in San Diego, California. After two seasons, he then transferred to Texas State University.
During his professional playing career, he was given the honor of representing the Norway men's national team. His 111 career international matches became the most games ever played by a Norwegian.
