Musician and Composer who made a name for himself as a member of the Indonesian band Dewa 19. He would later join the band Potret and become a film score Composer for movies like Laskar Pelangi and The Photograph.
He joined Dewa 19 after the band completed their 1995 album Terbaik Terbaik.
In 1998, he made his acting debut with a small role in the film Kuldesak.
His father is legendary filmmaker Sjumandjaja and his mother is ballerina Farida Oetoyo. He was married to Titi Rajo Bintang from 2004 until 2013 and they had one daughter, Miyake Shakuntala.
He performed as a member of Dewa 19 alongside Ari Lasso and Ahmad Dhani.
