The father of former YouTube sensation and late The Voice competitor Christina Grimmie.
Before his daughter gained fame, he supported his family by working for Verizon.
His daughter was tragically killed by a crazed fan outside of a concert in Orlando, Florida in June 2016.
He and his wife Tina had two children, daughter Christina and son Mark.
Following Grimmie's death, the family received messages of condolences from Grimmie's former friends and mentors including Selena Gomez and Adam Levine.
