Angela Leong was born on March 23, 1961 in Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Angela Leong, the fourth wife of Macau legend Stanley Ho, is the largest individual shareholder and the managing director of casino company SJM Holdings. The company is controlled by Sociedade deTurismo e Diversões de Macau, or STDM, and was started by Ho. An elected Macau legislator for the past 11 years, Leong hopes to revive SJM's fortunes with its first Cotai resort, the $3.9-billion Lisboa Palace, which is expected to open in 2018. Meanwhile, she owes the vast majority of her wealth to her impressive portfolio of Hong Kong properties.

She met her husband-to-be, Stanley Ho, a Macau casino tycoon famous in the political and entertainment industries in Hong Kong and Macau, 40 years her senior, when she was a dance Teacher in 1986. She became his fourth "wife" and has five children. She is the Director of the Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, a casino company owned by her husband-to-be, Stanley Ho, since its founding and the managing Director since December 2010, and the vice-chairman of the Macau Jockey Club.

In September 2017, she bought Aldwych House in London for about £250 million.
