Icelandic CrossFit athlete and International Olympic Weight Lifter who became the Nordic champion in 2014. She's been chosen as the Female Weight Lifter of the Year for three consecutive years. She's been sponsored by Northern Spirit apparel.
She was a PhD student studying engineering at the University of Iceland and taught system dynamics to masters students.
She became the first Icelandic female to represent Iceland at the European championship in weightlifting and took 8th in 2014.
She has lived in Reykjavik with her husband and daughter.
She's friend with fellow Icelandic weightlifting champion and CrossFit athlete Annie Thorisdottir.
