Former NCAA basketball player for the Maryland Terrapins who was killed at age 29 in a car crash. Investigators found that the tread on the rear tire of his van had separated causing it to separate the van to lose control.
He grew up in El Paso, Texas and was living there at the time of his death.
In his NCAA career, he played on two tournament teams in 2009 and 2010 and was known as one of the school's top 3-point shooters.
His wife Genesis B. Soto and his daughter Andrea were also in the van, but survived the crash. His parents are Regina and Cliff Tucker.
Jaylen Brantley was also a guard for the Maryland Terrapins.
