Nicknamed The Mogul, he is a reality personality on the A&E show Storage Wars who was a regular for seasons one through three, and returning in season five following some lawsuit drama.
At the beginning of the series, he owned Newport Consignment Gallery and Rags to Riches thrift store, but closed them both in June of 2011. He then began operating an auction house called Dave Hester Auctions.
