4-time NBA All-Star guard known as "The Pearl," who played for the Baltimore Bullets and New York Knicks, helping the Knicks win an NBA Championship in 1973.
He played college basketball at Winston-Salem State University, and was named NCAA College Division Player of the Year in 1967.
