South African international cricketer who is known for playing ODIs and T20Is. He is also known for being the T20I captain of the Sri Lanka tour.
In July of 2009, he travelled to Australia to play with the South African team. The same year he also went on to represent South Africa at the Hong Kong Sixes tournament. He made his debut for the T20I team in early 2012.
In May of 2017, he received the award for T20 Challenge Player of the Season at the Cricket South Africa's annual awards.
He was born and raised in Johannesburg, Transvaal Province, South Africa.
As a member of the South African national team, he has played alongside Hashim Amla and Faf Du Plessis.
