Notable for his childhood guest appearances on Bones, Glee, New Girl, and Haunted Hathaways, Avitia is also known for his title, voice acting role in the made for television movie Niko and the Sword of Light. He landed a starring role in Disney XD's Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything.
Early in his career, he appeared in commercials for Target, Honda, and Comcast, and in an episode of House M.D.
For his role in a short film titled Ingles, Avitia earned a Young Artist Award nomination. He would book the voice role of Little Foot in Land Before Time XIV.
He spent his childhood in San Diego and Los Angeles, California. His father, Ruben Avitia, served as his performance coach. His mother's name is Victoria.
He appeared with Simon Baker in The Mentalist episode "My Blue Heaven."
