Animator and film Director most known for drawing and creating the cartoon vixen Betty Boop. In 2010, the Grim Natwick Film Festival was created to honor his memory and contributions to the field.
He received his education at the Art Institute of Chicago.
The Wisconsin Historical Society erected a memorial plaque to Grim Natwick in Wisconsin Rapids in 2010.
He grew up in Wisconsin with seven siblings.
