Co-founder of the popular fast food chain In-N-Out Burger and credited as an innovator for the drive-thru hamburger restaurant.
The first In-N-Out Burger was opened in 1948 in Los Angeles, California.
It only took a couple of years for five more restaurants to open up and at the time of his death, a total of 18 stores was known to be open.
He founded the fast food chain alongside his wife Esther Snyder.
David Edgerton is the co-founder of another hamburger fast food chain known as Burger King.
