Hall of Fame LPGA player with over 20 career tour wins. She won four major championships and played on the LPGA Tour from 1974 until 2000, when she joined the Women's Senior Golf Tour.
She won the U.S. Girls' Junior three times, all as an amateur, becoming the first player to accomplish such a feat.
Her last LPGA Tour victory came at the 1991 Crestar-Farm Fresh Classic.
She had four children, three boys and a girl.
She and Patty Sheehan both retired from the LPGA Tour in the top 50 for all-time tour victories.
