One fifth of the South Korean boy band History, the first boy group debuted by LOEN Entertainment. History released their first single "Dreamer" in April of 2013 and went on to release several EPs including Just Now, Desire, and Beyond the History.
He attended the School of Art and Communication Dong-Ah. He previously made his entertainment debut on the second season of Star Audition: The Great Birth in 2011.
In 2013, he appeared on the television series World Changing Quiz Show.
He is a native of Gyeongnam, South Korea.
In 2013, he appeared in the music video for IU's single "Friday."
