Known for his WWF work, where he was referred to as Earthquake; won a 1992 WWF Tag Team Championship with friend and teammate Typhoon.
He decided to chase a career in wrestling at age 6, and in 1981, at age 18, he became the Canadian junior champion.
He had successful careers as a sumo Wrestler, and in All Japan Pro Wrestling, before signing with the WWF in 1989.
He was married to Josephine Tenta until his death, and had three children with her.
At the height of his popularity he feuded with fellow WWF star Hulk Hogan.
