New York Times bestselling author of The Selection, the first of a multi-novel series with rights that were bought by Warner Brothers for film adaptation purposes. She also authored a standalone book called The Siren.
She graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in History.
Her first time leaving the United States was on a trip to the Philippines.
She grew up in South Carolina and would reside in Christiansburg, Virginia with her husband and daughter.
In 2012 and 2013, her novel The Selection was almost made into a TV series for The CW starring Aimee Teegarden.
