Before Fame

His youth career first began when he started playing for the Al Ahly club. He later joined the Rio Ave club in 2011 where he would make his senior debut during the following season. He went on to make his debut with the Egyptian national team in 2013 and in 2015 he joined the Braga club.

He is known for having been the runner up at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and also went on to win the Africa Under 20 Championships during his 2013 season both as part of the Egypt national team.
