Lam Kong was born in Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China. Lam chairs Hong Kong-listed China Medical Systems, which distributes drugs to thousands of hospitals around the country.
Lam founded the company in 1995, almost a decade after graduating from Zhanjiang Medical College.
