Best known for his role of A.J. Fielding in the hit Netflix series The Killing and as Matt Copeland in the TV series Aftermath. He has had recurring roles on the shows The 100 and Olympus.
He first began acting at 12, performing in local theatre productions. After high school, he moved to the Czech Republic to study writing and directing at the Prague Center for Film Education.
One of his earliest successes was in 2012 playing Brett in the straight-to-video movie 1313: Bigfoot Island.
He has a brother named Colton. He began a relationship with Modern Family star Ariel Winter in 2016.
In 2016, he joined Rory J. Saper in the cast of the science fiction film Incontrol.
