Broadcaster best known as the news anchor for ABC's 4PM Eyewitness newscast in Chicago. She is the co-founder of the Asian-American Journalists Association.
She immigrated to the U.S. in 1951 and later graduated from the University of Southern California.
She broke her leg in a car accident in January 2014.
Her daughter is Actress Francesca Baer.
She and Alan Krashesky have worked together as co-anchors of the 4PM Eyewitness News.
